About
Black & Brown in the Middle (B&BITM) is a media platform and creative collective founded by Kendra Williams that fosters healing through authentic storytelling. The organization creates space for Black, Brown, and Indigenous people to tell their own stories on their own terms, moving beyond stereotypes to showcase the nuances of diverse identities and experiences. As a Program Manager at Google and community advocate, Kendra created B&BITM to amplify BIPOC voices and "allow audiences to see humanity in one another." In addition to producing media content, the collective offers creative services to help organizations take actionable steps toward greater diversity and inclusion, providing outlets for underrepresented people to communicate authentically.
